Trail Rides
Saddle Up and See the Countryside
See some of Canada’s most pristine rural parkland and woodland areas the way they were meant to be seen, riding horseback across Alberta’s world-renowned terrain. Meet up with the Drayton Valley Horse Club (http://dvhc.epbrparkscouncil.org/) for your chance to saddle up and take an invigorating ride along the Riverside Trails, a long and winding system of groomed trails that run next to the Pembina River and throughout Brazeau County.
With more than 80 kilometres of land set aside for equestrian recreation – incorporating bridges, wet and dry river crossings, and short and long routes –
both the experienced and novice rider will find a horseback riding trail suited to them.
